About
Individualised psychiatric care to help you achieve your full potential.
I graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2013 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Surgery, and Medical Science. I have worked as a doctor in Darwin, Brisbane and Melbourne. I began my psychiatry training with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 2017, achieving Fellowship in 2024.

As a psychiatrist with a broad medical background, I take a holistic approach to mental health. Our sessions may explore not just your thoughts and emotions, but also how stress, relationships, habits, sleep, and lifestyle can affect your wellbeing. I prescribe medication when necessary and provide advice and counselling to help you choose the best option for you.

I have experience working with people from many different backgrounds, including young people, LGBTQIA+, First Nations, and culturally diverse individuals.
My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, trauma, psychosis, OCD, and neurodivergence (ADHD, autism spectrum, intellectual disability). I also have a special interest in women’s mental health, supporting family planning, pregnancy, parenting, and hormonal conditions like PMDD, perimenopause, and menopause.

Services
I provide psychiatry services to individuals aged 15 - 65 years.

1 / General Assessment
I provide specialised psychiatric care for conditions such as anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma and psychosis. This general pathway includes treatment for autism and ADHD that have already been diagnosed by a psychiatrist. I will provide either a once-off review with advice to your GP, or ongoing care and support if needed.

2 / ADHD Assessment
I provide ADHD assessments for individuals experiencing lifelong difficulties with concentration and attention. Assessment and management plan takes place over 2-3 sessions.
A family member or close friend will be requested to attend one of the sessions.

3 / Autism Assessment
I provide assessments for autism spectrum disorder for individuals experiencing lifelong difficulties in social communication, and restricted, repetitive behaviours and interests. Assessment will take place over 2 sessions. A family member or close friend will be required to attend one of the sessions.
For Referrers
1 / General Assessment
There are a few things you can do to help speed up your patient’s journey.
I appreciate detailed referrals that particularly address the following:
-
Why is the patient seeking a psychiatrist review?
-
What is the past psychiatric history?
-
Substance use history?
-
Current medications?
-
What has been tried thus far to address the mental health difficulties?
-
Kindly attach any relevant previous reports eg. From psychologist, previous psychiatrist, hospital admission.
2 / ADHD Assessments
I provide ADHD assessments and ongoing follow up. Once the individual is stable, my preference is that their GP provides ongoing prescriptions and monitoring of blood pressure and heart rate.
I appreciate detailed referrals that particularly address the following:
-
Blood pressure, heart rate, and cardiovascular examination
-
If you will continue prescribing if the individual is provided a medication regimen
-
Past psychiatric history
-
History of substance misuse.
3 / Autism Assessments
I appreciate detailed referrals that particularly address the following:
-
Why is the patient seeking an autism assessment?
-
What is the past psychiatric history?
-
Substance use history?
-
Current medications?
-
What has been tried thus far to address the mental health difficulties?
-
Kindly attach any relevant previous reports eg. From psychologist, previous psychiatrist, hospital admission.
Fees
I believe in transparency with pricing, so that you can make an informed decision before seeing me.
After you pay for your consultation, you may be entitled to a Medicare rebate. Medicare rebate refers to the amount of money that Medicare pays back to you after your appointment.

If you have reached the Medicare Safety Net, Medicare will cover more of the cost, so your rebate may be higher than the amounts listed.

How do I book an appointment?
Please make contact with the clinic of your choice (Telehealth or In-Person) before sending a referral. Outline the issue you would like support with, as this will allow me to assess if I am available and suited to supporting you.If I am able to see you, I will ask you to obtain a referral from your GP and send it to my clinic (Telehealth or In-Person). My team will then reach out to you with an appointment.
Do you bulk bill?
I am able to bulk bill people living in rural areas (Darwin, NT and surrounds) when I provide a one-off or 12-monthly review (291).
For individuals living in other areas, my fees are listed here.
Why was my referral declined?
I make decisions about who I will see based on the information provided in the referral and your contact with me. If there is insufficient information, or your difficulties fall outside my area of expertise, I may decline the referral. I am not able to support individuals who are currently receiving compulsory psychiatric care through a public mental health service, individuals with substance use issues where this is the primary difficulty, individuals outside of the age range 15-65, or individuals with a high degree of risk (to self or others).
